Emmi Jacket - Attached Collar

Step 1
Construct the main body of the Emmi jacket in an outer fabric, and in a lining fabric, following steps 1-7 in your instruction booklet.
Step 2
Make collar of your choice. This tutorial works for both the standard collar or bomber collar.
Step 3
Pin collar around neckline, lining up the edges of collar with inside edge of button stand.
Step 4
With right sides facing, pin your jacket and lining together all the way around the neckline edge, sandwiching the collar in between the two layers. Also pin front edge and front hem together, leaving just the back hem open. Stitch together.
Step 5
Complete the rest of of the steps as per your instruction booklet! (NB: except that you will not need any buttonholes around the neckline as your collar is already beautifully attached!)
